Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
Advanced Placement is a program in the United States and Canada, created by the College Board, that offers college-level curricula and examinations to high school students. Colleges and universities may grant advanced placement and course credit to students who obtain scores of 3, 4 or 5 on the examinations. AP credits can earn you higher enrollment status earlier in college, and shorten your time (and cost) for a two-year or four-year degree. AP exams are given each year in May.
