Congratulations to the Class of 2020!
Final CHS Transcripts
Current students and alumni can request official and unofficial transcripts via Parchment, an online service that provides a privacy-protected, trackable, and efficient process for ordering and sending transcripts. As a courtesy of Parchment, all transcript requests are FREE through the end of the school year. Current students should have received an email with links to complete their Parchment account registration. Please note that this link is unique to each student, and should not be shared with other students. More information can be found on the Beyond CHS website. All final transcripts requested by Seniors on Parchment, which were placed on hold for your diploma/final grades, were processed and sent this week.
The Beyond CHS Senior Profile
The Beyond CHS Senior Profile (aka BCHS senior checkout survey) is a Google Form here. Please help us out by completing this survey if you haven’t already done so! If you already filled one out, but you have new information to add, such as a college or community college name, please fill it out again and in the comments/notes at the end write “please replace my old survey with this survey.” Thank you!
Sending your LBCC Final Transcript to a College or University
Seniors/Graduates who want their LBCC College Now credits to transfer to another school should request their LBCC transcript be sent to that community college, college or university after June 19. You have three options to do so: 1) Webrunner, 2) Student Clearinghouse, and 3) emailing email@example.com a copy of the LBCC transcript request form. Detailed instructions can be found here.
Please make sure your senior classes show up on your unofficial LBCC transcript before you send your official LBCC transcript to a college or university. You do not need to send a transcript to LBCC if you are planning to attend LBCC full or part-time. If you are planning to enroll in a Degree Partnership Program (aka dual enrollment) such as the LBCC/OSU or LCC/UO DPP, you do need to send your LBCC transcript to the 4-year university. Please note: You must send your LBCC College Now transcripts yourself; CHS cannot do this for you. If you have problems or questions about how to do this, please contact LBCC.
AP Exam Information and Updates
Regular AP Exams took place May 11-22, and Late/Make-up AP Exams took place June 1-5. If you applied for an AP Exception (super late) exam by 3pm on June 5, please see the AP Exception Exam Schedule. If you are approved for an exception exam, you will automatically receive an email with an E-ticket 2 days before the Late AP Exception Exam date. Beyond CHS will not be sending AP Exception Exam reminders!
Students can view their AP Exam scores by logging into their College Board AP account starting July 15. Access is based on students’ physical location. You should also receive an email from the College Board that your AP Exam scores are ready to be viewed in your account.
Seniors/Graduates should login to their College Board AP account now to send their AP score history to one college or university you have decided to attend. You can do that now, or you have until June 20 to use your free AP score send online. More info on sending AP scores is here.
This year alone, students will not be charged for an exam they do not attempt. Not taking an AP test is treated as cancelling a test and refunds will be processed in late June. If you chose not to take an AP exam and would like a refund, please fill out this form asap. (Do not attempt to take an Exception AP Exam, or it will be considered a used exam, and you will not be eligible for a refund.)
Thank You Notes
CHS Grads, please take some time to thank the people who helped you get to this point! If you won a Scholarship or Award from an organization like Corvallis Elks, Corvallis Rotary, Corvallis Public Schools Foundation, Benton Community Foundation, Corvallis Boys and Girls Club, OSU Folk Club, Kiwanis, or any other organization, please send a thank you note to that organization. You can do this by email, or with a hand-written note. Some, but not all, mailing or email addresses are listed here. A little gratitude goes a long way, and it reflects well on Corvallis High School students.
Scholarships and Contests
Seniors- there are still scholarships available! Please visit the BCHS Scholarship Database online for details. The Gear-up Oregon Scholarship list is another good resource, as well as Oregon CIS scholarship tools (requires student login).
